Heather Leughmyer graduated from Indiana–Purdue University with a B.A. in English Writing and Linguistics. Writing has been a lifelong passion for her, shaped by a deep love for language, storytelling, and meaningful expression.

A dedicated vegan, animal rights activist, and animal rescuer, Heather uses her writing to advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves. By sharing their stories and illustrating their pain, she hopes to touch hearts and inspire change through compassion and awareness.

Heather lives in Columbia City, Indiana, with her husband, daughter, and several beloved animal companions. Her work reflects both her personal values and her commitment to creating a kinder, more empathetic world—one story at a time.
